One of the most important tournaments of our beloved sport is just about to start. The tournament is held in the UAE, more precisely in Abu Dhabi, which is also home of the original ADCC tournament. The relationship between Abu Dhabi and BJJ is not new, and this tournament is a perfect example of the nation’s dedication to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (which is also their national sport).
The 2014 World Professional Jiu Jitsu Championship Live Broadcast is presented by the UAE Jiu Jitsu federation, for free, and in it you will be able to see some of the top Jiu Jitsu athletes from all over the world, athletes that have been through a trials triage all over the globe, to find the most apt in the sport.
Black belts fight on thursday for their respective weight divisions. They rest during the Friday and return to the mats on Saturday to compete in the absolute. This applies for the male and the female divisions.
