Carlos Gracie Sr.

Carlos Gracie was the founder of Gracie Jiu Jitsu, the ruling figure of the Gracie family as well as a successful entrepreneur. He reached the “Decimo Grau” 10th Dan in Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (AKA BJJ/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) a degree only given to the founders of the gentle art.

Rolls Gracie

Rolls Gracie was one of the most important members of the Gracie family, being the family’s champion in the 1970’s and considered to be the father of modern day jiu jitsu through his ideas on cross training in different martial arts. Rolls is also often labelled as the pioneer in the development of the game, having influenced most of his and all following generations of BJJ practitioners.

Carlson Gracie

Carlson Gracie was one of the most important figures in jiu jitsu, and still is considered today to be one of the best representatives of the sport both as a competitor and as coach through his Carlson Gracie Academy. His legacy will live for many years to come, as many of the world’s premiere BJJ teams came generated from his lineage, teams such as Nova Uniao, American Top Team (ATT), Brazilian Top Team (BTT), Nova Geração and many others.

Marcelo Garcia

Marcelo Garcia also known as “Marcelinho“, is one of the most loved fighters in the BJJ community. With an entourage of fans throughout the grappling circuit earned by his Jiu Jitsu prowess and his amicable demeanor. Marcelo Garcia is considered by many as one of the All Time Best BJJ Fighters to have ever entered a mat, including by Rubber Guard guru Eddie Bravo, who considered Marcelo to be the BJJ “messiah“, after watching him in action.
